1. Do not stand and drink water

2. Avoid drinking cold water in one breath
Avoid drinking large amounts of water in one breath. Take a rather small sip, breathe and repeat throughout the day. This is also true during your meal. There are three doshas in the body - Vata, Pitta and Kapha, and how you consume water. It is believed that it should be according to these dosh. People of Vata nature can drink water only after one hour of having food. This will help them to digest their food better.
